I really like it when everything is nice and orderly. That's why I'm a sucker for articles like this one, that give tips for using space in ways you might not have thought of.
This article does have some good ideas, but one that I'm thinking of trying is to take out the master bathtub and replace it with either shelving or like a freestanding cabinet. The master bathtub is, in my opinion, the worst offender of wasting square footage. It's just so big, taking up all this very precious space, and I never use it. I think it's been filled up 3 times in 10 years and each time I thought: "This is taking so long, and is not worth it at all." My wife doesn't use it either. So that pretty much settles it.
